Welcome

Welcome to Endurance Man and thanks for visiting my site. It is in the beginning stages and look for it to grow and expand in the very near future.

As many of you know, I just returned from Federal Way, WA (just outside of Seattle), where I participated in my second USMS Nationals meet for short course yards. I've been training very hard and have made nice time drops in almost all of my meets this past winter and spring. At Nationals I swam in six events, from my strongest (the mile) to the shortest possible freestyle race, the 50. Here are my results and how I placed in the meet. I only compete against other male athletes in the 35-39 year old age group. FYI, 35-39 and 40-44 are the two toughest age groups to compete in in Masters Swimming.

1650 Freestyle (the Mile)

100 Free

500 Free

50 Free, as part of 200 Mixed Free Relay, with Amanda, Jody and Brian
24.04
my split
.75 second improvement. Relay placed #4 at the meet

As of May 24, 2007, I am currently ranked #1 in the USA in the 1000 yard freestyle. No one has beat me so far this year and the season ends the beginning of June

As you can see my training is paying off, so far this year I've trained nearly 500,000 meters, plus one pretty killer half-marathon in the Marin Headlands, and some taxing bike rides over the Golden Gate bridge and well into Marin.
